holiday silence

I have been filling my head up with noise. Mainly to avoid thoughts. Podcasts, netflix, work worries, family worries, end of earth worries.

I have been filling my life with a virtual existence outweighing the real physical sense of place.

Now I have stopped. mostly except for a few meetings and tech issues to fix and writing this post. As I sit here on a magnetic island with slow but usable internet. Everything can slow down and go quiet like the rain falling in the rain forest slow, luscious drops.
